Kerry's talent lies in juggling her roles as rainmaker, client service director, bean counter, HR manager, creative strategist, coffee junkie, school governing body member, wife and mom! Who would have thought a degree in journalism from Rhodes Universeity would lead to all this. She spent her early career at Independent Newspapers followed by a stint at Marcus Brewster Publicity. Since launching Splash in 2001 she has run PR campaigns across every concievable industry. When she's not nuturing Splash or her children, you'll find her on a beach or up a mountain running, walking or just breathing in Cape Town!
Doug joined his wife Kerry as a partner in Splash PR in January 2005. He has a post graduate degree in journalism and 11 years experience as a print media journalist. Formerly a senior writer for the Weekend Argus, Doug has worked as a sub-editor, production editor and writer on various South African and global titles. Doug is Splash PR's copy editor-in-chief and his experience means Splash is well-equipped to manage breaking news stories and crisis communication. Doug is a keen golfer who specializes in the yip-shank and spent the first half of his life thinking mine dumps were cool.
Cecily has been part of the Splash PR family since 2003. One of the senior members of staff she has worked on PR campaigns ranging from art, music, publishing, tech and tourism to retail, fashion, food and drinks. She has developed into an exceptional media strategist with a wealth of media contacts across traditional and new media channels. Just like fine wine, Cecily has matured with time. She would like to believe that in her previous life she was a mega music superstar, but for now she is the aspiring office karaoke queen.
After completing a BA in Journalism at Rhodes University in 2008, Christine stayed true to her purple heritage and joined former Rhodes graduates Kerry Seymour and Doug Carew at Splash PR in 2009. Not shy of a challenge, she has achieved excellent results on the Vote for Table Mountain campaign, and for PUMA and Table Mountain Cableway. Although she could easily entertain herself if abandoned on a desert island, she loves people, delicious food and all things sporty. Christine is at home on a rugby pitch taking on the boys, but loves nothing better than a glass of bubbly with her girlfriends.
