@home GOES LIVE WITH WEDDING REGISTRIES ONLINE

@home, the homeware store, has launched an online bridal registry service, to make the gift selection process quicker and easier for bridal couples and their wedding guests.

Couples can set up their wedding registry online at www.home.co.za. With just a few clicks of a mouse, they can select items from a catalogue in the comfort of their home, or make a trip to an @home store and choose items with a hand-held scanner that are then uploaded to their personal registry online.

Once the registry is live on the Internet, the @home service can alert guests that the registry is available via email notification. The guests can view the registry online, check stock availability in their selected store and visit @home stores to purchase a gift.

Registry reports, wedding newsletters, to-do lists and thank you notes to the wedding guests are just some of the services on offer. Links to other websites for wedding information, planning and budgeting will also be provided on the site.
