A chewable brain food supplement for kids, formulated by nutritionist Patrick Holford and produced by Bioharmony, is now available in South Africa just in time for the start of a new school year.

Bioharmony's Chewable Essential Omegas for Smart Kids nourish the brain in the quest for peak performance and improved mood. And the new chewable capsules are every parent's answer to getting essential fatty acids into a fussy eater's diet.

The capsules are a combination of omega-3 and omega-6, enhanced with pure vitamin E. They have a natural orange flavour and are free from wheat, gluten, dairy, salt and artificial preservatives. The supplement was developed in response to a UK children's diet and nutrition survey where Holford revealed that almost 50% of the children he surveyed had behavioural problems and poor attention spans because of sub-standard diets made up of fried foods, take-aways, processed foods, ready meals and sugar.
